Dr. Laurel Easterling grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and always knew she wanted to be a small animal veterinarian. After receiving her Bachelor’s from Princeton University in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master’s from The Pennsylvania State University in Animal Science, Dr. Easterling earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Easterling has now joined Animal Kind in 2023 and is Fear Free Certified. In addition to preventative medicine, her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, management of chronic diseases, and hospice care. In her free time, Dr. Easterling enjoys long walks and exploring the city with her Norwich terrier, “Hattie,” baking cakes, and reading books in the park.
