We here at Animal Kind are excited to announce the offering of Telemedicine. During uncertain times and needing to increase our time at home we are thrilled to offer a virtual consultation platform.
While we understand that staying indoors as much as possible is important, we also understand that veterinary issues can still arise.
In order to help keep your outdoor exposure to a minimum, Animal Kind is initiating a telemedicine service. This means that you can connect with the same doctors you know and trust; now from the comfort of your home.

You will need to download the TeleTails mobile app and enter our code ANIMALKIND. The TeleTails team is happy to walk you through the set-up process if you need help!
Who qualifies for Telehealth?
Currently, only clients with smartphones will be able to utilize this service. TeleTails connects you with our veterinary team. You will not be talking to a third-party veterinarian. Consultations will cost $50 for the first 20 minute of your appointment. Please understand that after our consultation, an in-person physical exam may still be recommended (at an additional cost).
Please see below for a list of ailments which are generally suitable for telemedicine consultation:
- Problems involving the skin, such as a rashes, hair loss, etc...
- Coughing, sneezing and/or congestion
- Gastrointestinal upset, such as vomiting and/or diarrhea
- Recheck of minor wounds and post surgery site checks
- Nutritional counseling
- Anxiety/behavior issues
- Weight management
- Initial consultation for international travel
As always, if you feel your pet is experiencing an emergency, call the office to come in and see a Veterinarian as soon as possible. Certain conditions such as seizures, respiratory distress, straining to urinate, cardiac concerns and excessive vomiting and diarrhea will require you to bring your pet in to the office and have an in-clinic exam with one of our Veterinarians.
